ZATTAXI

Z'ATTAXI is a game about my final fantasy catgirl doing crazy taxi. I made it as an exercise in finding joy in gamedev and also being less shy about putting out my jank-ass prototypes and sharing them with the world. I hope you have a bad time playing it and it inspires you to put your own jank-ass half finished works into the world.

CONTROLS

WASD - movement
Space - Drift
R - resets the car if it's stuck
J - jump (its bad dont use it)

A: no I actually started working on this like early january bc im just a freak who likes crazy taxi but that run inspired me to port the whole OST into cat meows. shout out to them.

Q: why is zat a black void the first time the menu loads in
A: idk its probably a weird shader or texture bug but honestly i wanted to finish this in mid january so im just not gonna fix it. pretend there's lore reasons

a bunch of stuff in here is copywritten or snagged off google images but im not really into intellectual property as a concept. did you know having an arrow pointing at your destination like in crazy taxi is actually a mechanic copywritten by sega so it's illegal to use? It's crazy (taxi). There's a cool video about it here.


If you want to make your own driving game about throwing your OC in a car and  having them hit people with it you can grab the car controller I used here it kinda has insane amounts of drift I honestly recommend finding something else. I just am fucked up and love drifting.
